Savings Account
Each
prospective member must open a share savings account with
a minimum balance. This allows you to earn dividends while
granting immediate access to funds, other accounts, and
services. This account is also used to provide overdraft
protection for checking accounts and is accessible through
Touch Tone Teller and ATMs. You can add to and withdraw
from this account at any time. Dividends are paid to this
account monthly. Our monthly dividend rate has surpassed
bank passbook account rates by 1 to 1 ½% and compare
very favorably to other local credit unions. Your savings
are insured to $100,000 through the National Credit Union
Administration, a U.S. government agency.
