Universal Membership Application
Welcome to
the Sierra Point on-line membership application. Please
read the agreements below. If you agree and understand
them, press the "I agree" button and proceed to
complete the application. After completing the
application, print it out and mail it to SPCU with your
minimum deposit of $45.00. $25 will open a share
account for you and $20 will be collected for a lifetime
membership fee. If you do not agree, you will be
presented with a message page to send your questions to
our Member Service Supervisor.
I/We hereby
apply for membership in the Sierra Point Credit Union and
agree to follow its policies and conditions related to
my/our account(s). I understand that I will receive a
separate Truth in Savings Disclosure and Account
Agreement.
Notification of California Escheatment
Law
We are
required to let you know that, if at any time while you
maintain an account with SPCU, your account falls into
one of the following categories listed below, your
account will be in danger of being escheated to the
Controller of the State of California.
The
escheatment procedure occurs when you fall into one of
the following categories:
- We have not had a
written contact in the last three (3) years; or
- We have no address or
a bad address; or
- Your account had no
activity in the last (3) years other than the
payment of dividends.
We will
attempt to contact you prior to the escheatment
procedure; however, it is your responsibility to maintain
contact and a correct address on file with SPCU.
